The Italian Republic, the Republic of San Marino, and the Vatican City State celebrate Saint Francis on the 800th anniversary of his death (1226-2026) by dedicating a coin each to his famous work, "The Canticle of the Creatures," thus reviving the Franciscan message of a benevolent and harmonious vision of nature and humanity.
As announced in a statement by IPZS, this triptych is born from the "shared desire to enhance a common spiritual and cultural heritage through the universal language of coin."
