The Košice Marathon is a marathon running competition held annually in the Slovak city of Košice. The Kosice Marathon was first held in 1924. It is the oldest continuously running marathon in the world, held annually since 1941. It is the oldest marathon in Europe and the third oldest marathon in the world. The first race took place in 1924. The first women’s race took place in 1980.
