2 euro coin dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Raul Brandão, UNC.
Raul Brandão was a Portuguese writer, journalist and soldier, known for his realistic descriptions. He graduated in 1891 and he entered the Portuguese Military and started to work in the Ministry of War. In 1912, after his release from the Army, he went to Lisbon and spent the rest of his life there pursuing his writer career.
