PLEASE WRITE ON THE NOTE SECTION AT CHECKOUT, IF YOU WANT THE FRENCH OR DUTCH VERSION.
100 years ago the Belgium-Luxembourg Economic Union, abbreviated BLEU, was concluded between Belgium and Luxembourg. Initially, the BLEU would exist for a period of fifty years. The alliance was both a customs union and a currency union. This meant that the Belgian franc and the Luxembourg franc were linked. The exchange rates of the two currencies were the same until they were replaced by the euro in 2002.
