The Filippo Caracciolo Foundation, a reference study center of the ACI Federation, is a non-profit research organization established by ACI, a permanent founder.
The birth of ACI as a national association occurred in 1905, from the union of the Automobile Club of Turin and a number of other local automobile clubs.
It pursues the purpose of promoting and carrying out studies and scientific research in the field of mobility, with particular reference to safety, accessibility and environmental protection. It relies on the contribution of its Scientific Committee, composed of academics.
Within the scope of its competencies, the Caracciolo Foundation elaborates and publishes studies and research, scientific papers and articles; organizes and coordinates thematic in-depth tables, conferences and seminars; promotes training initiatives and events of scientific dissemination; and collaborates with Universities, Institutes and Research Bodies.
