2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, UNC.

The Schuman Declaration was presented on May 9, 1950, by the then French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman. The document proposed the creation of a European Coal and Steel Community, whose members would pool their production of these materials.
The ECSC (founding countries: France, West Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg) was the first in a series of supranational European institutions that would ultimately lead to the creation of what is now the European Union.
