2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to the 100 years of basketball in Lithuania, UNC.
The year 2022 is the year marking the centenary of basketball in Lithuania. The first basketball competition in Lithuania and the beginning of the national basketball in general is considered to be the match between the Lithuanian Union of Physical Education (LUPT) and the team of the Provisional Capital (Kaunas) on 23 April 1922, and won by the LUPT at a score 8:6.
