The Cathedral, the Alcazar and the Indies Archive of Seville were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Historic city of Andalusia, Seville can boast among the most exceptional monuments of the nation: the Cathedral, one of the largest and most impressive churches of Christianity, unsurpassed for the spatial effect of its interior and for the richness of the treasures preserved and the annexed Giralda, that is the Tower of the Cathedral; the Alcazar that testifies the passage of the Arab dominators, who laid the foundations, and the Catholic kings who then took possession; the Archive of the Indies which houses the most complete collection of documents on the Spanish conquest and colonization of the Americas.
