The Elbphilharmonie is one of the largest and most acoustically advanced concert halls in the city of Hamburg.
The glass construction resembles a hoisted sail, wave or quartz crystal, and is resting on top of an old warehouse.
It opened on 11 January 2017, with a concert by the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock.
