Description
Coin dedicated to 500th Anniversary of the Death of Pinturicchio, Brilliant Uncirculated.
Bernardino di Betto Betti, better known as Pinturicchio was an Italian painter. The nickname Pinturicchio ("small pintor", meaning "painter") stemmed from his small stature: he used that nickname to sign some works. He was a complete artist, able to master both the art of painting on wood, the fresco and the miniature, working for some of the most important personalities of his time. He was one of the great masters of the Umbrian school.
