2 euro coin in roll dedicated to the Botanical Garden of Ajuda, Brilliant Uncirculated. The Botanical Garden of Ajuda is the oldest garden in Portugal; its construction was commissioned by the Marquis of Pombal in 1768, and its first name was Real Jardim Botânico da Ajuda. It was the first botanical garden of Portugal to be conceived as a museum and as a nursery of botanical species originating in the most varied parts of the world.
