2 euro coin dedicated to the Portuguese Presidency at the UE Council, UNC.
Portugal will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from 1st January, 2021 to 1st July, 2021. It is the second time that Portugal will hold the Presidency of this Council, the last time was from 1st July, 2007 to 31st December, 2007.
The rays shown on one side of the coins stand for the mission of the Portuguese Presidency in the EU to all those who disperse it in the Eurozone.
