2 euro commemorative coin. In the obverse of the coin t is depicted Nikos Kazantzakis, one of the greatest Greek writers of the twentieth century. A left along the circumference of the inner circle contains, in Greek, the words corresponding to "ELLENICA REPUBLIC" and "NIKOS KAZANTZAKIS". In the bottom right is the monogram of the artist (George Stamatopoulos). On the outside of the coin are 12 stars of the European Union flag.
