2 euro coin dedicated to the 100th year of Indipendence of Finland from Russia. In the inner circle there is a mosaic pattern in which the most wicked tiles draw a map of Finland. The Finnish Declaration of Independence (in Finnish Suomen itsenäisyyspäivä) is celebrated on 6th December and commemorates the Declaration of Independence of Finland from Russia, on December 6, 1917. The national celebration is commemorated solemnly: it is based on songs, military parades and various cultural events where national pride and patriotism are celebrated. There is also a lack of public discourses and traditional Finnish customs.
