3 euro coin dedicated to the Mosasaurus, Brilliant Uncirculated. GLOW IN THE DARK! Second coin of the new Series "Supersaurus". At 17 metres in length the “Mosasaurus hoffmanni” was the largest marine dinosaur. Mosasaurus dominated the seas of the Cretaceous period and died out 66 million years ago without descendants. These sea-dwelling reptiles are descended from monitor lizards that lived on land. They were spread worldwide and developed nearly 40 different genera with numerous species.
